Camp du Domaine FAQ: everything you need to know before your stay.

Planning a stay at Camp du Domaine? This FAQ brings together the most common questions before booking, after confirming your stay or just before your arrival at the campsite. Is the campsite open all year round?

No. Camp du Domaine opens every year one week before Easter and welcomes guests until 31 October.

Can I come to Camp du Domaine with a dog?

Yes, dogs are accepted on camping pitches throughout the season. However, they are not allowed in most rental accommodation, except in certain specific models such as the SUNNY mobile home, RÊVE 5-person bungalow and OASIS SPA accommodation.

Do you accept unaccompanied minors?

No. Minors must be accompanied by a parent during their stay at Camp du Domaine.

Do you accept groups?

Yes, groups, associations and clubs can stay at Camp du Domaine. To organise your visit in the best possible conditions, please contact reception so that availability, specific needs and booking arrangements can be checked.

What should I do in case of a late arrival?

Reception welcomes guests during the day. Outside reception opening hours, the night guard located at the campsite entrance can welcome you on presentation of your booking and an ID document. If you arrive after midnight, access to the campsite is on foot only.

How should I report a delay?

Any delay must be reported quickly by phone on +33 4 94 71 03 12 or by email at mail@campdudomaine.com. A delay of more than 24 hours that has not been reported may result in the booking being cancelled.

Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes. Camp du Domaine has four PRM-approved accommodation units. For stays in a tent, caravan or motorhome, several sanitary blocks are equipped for people with reduced mobility or senior guests. Access to the bars, restaurants, shops and beach has also been designed to make getting around easier.

How large are the camping pitches?

Camp du Domaine pitches generally range from 80 m² to 180 m². They can accommodate a tent, a caravan or a motorhome depending on their layout. If your equipment is large, please mention this when booking so that a suitable pitch can be offered.

What is a “Pieds dans l’eau” pitch?

A “Pieds dans l’eau” pitch is located directly by the sea. It is equipped with electricity, water and wastewater drainage.

What is a “Proche mer” pitch?

A “Proche mer” pitch is located just behind the seafront, approximately 20 to 80 metres from the beach. It is equipped with electricity, water and wastewater drainage.

What is a “Colline côté mer” pitch?

A “Colline côté mer” pitch is located on the hillside, approximately 80 to 200 metres from the beach. It offers a natural setting and is equipped with electricity, water and wastewater drainage.

What is a “Côté Platanes” pitch?

A “Côté Platanes” pitch is located in an area approximately 200 to 400 metres from the beach. These pitches are spacious, often shaded, and equipped with electricity, water and wastewater drainage.

What is a “Côté Campagne” pitch?

A “Côté Campagne” pitch is located on the other side of the hill, approximately 400 to 600 metres from the beach, in a pine forest setting facing the hills and the sunset. These pitches are equipped with electricity, water and wastewater drainage.

What is a “Nature” pitch?

A “Nature” pitch is a bare pitch, without water or electricity. It is particularly suited to tent campers, but may also be suitable for some vans, caravans or motorhomes depending on accessibility. Please note: some “Nature” pitches are not accessible by vehicle.

Do you accept twin-axle caravans and motorhomes?

Yes. It is simply important to mention when booking that your equipment is large, so that a suitable pitch can be arranged.

Are all pitches shaded?

All pitches have a shaded area, either naturally thanks to the vegetation or with a paillotte, a pergola that allows you to sit outside while enjoying shade.

What amperage do the electric sockets provide?

The electric sockets are French sockets rated at 10 amps, around 2,200 W, or 16 amps, around 3,520 W. Adaptors are available for sale on the campsite, including at the Supermarket U, the Bazar, reception or from the night guard.

Can I rent a fridge for my pitch?

Yes. Camp du Domaine offers two options: a fridge directly on your pitch or a fridge in a dedicated room. It is advisable to book this option at the same time as your stay, especially in summer.

Can I park my car on the pitch?

Yes, except in specific cases for a few tent pitches. Most pitches and rental accommodation are accessible by car and allow you to park your vehicle close to where you are staying.

Can I set up a small extra tent next to a caravan?

Yes, if the size of the pitch allows it. This is possible at no extra cost, subject to available space and safety rules.

What time must I vacate my pitch?

Pitches must be vacated before 10 am on the day of departure.

Do all accommodation units have a sea view?

No. Some mobile homes and bungalows have a beautiful sea view or a partial sea view, while others overlook the pine forest or the surrounding hills. Before booking, please check the model chosen and its location within the campsite.

Is the accommodation air-conditioned?

Yes. All accommodation at Camp du Domaine has reversible air conditioning.

How many people can the accommodation sleep?

Camp du Domaine offers a wide range of mobile homes and bungalows sleeping from 2 to 8 people, depending on the model.

Are sheets, pillows and duvets included?

Duvets, pillows, pillowcases and disposable mattress protectors are provided in the rental accommodation. Household linen is not provided. You can buy disposable sheets or rent household linen according to your needs: sheets, towels, tea towels or beach towels.

Do you provide baby equipment?

Yes. Baby equipment may be available to rent to make stays with a baby or young child easier.

Can I pitch a tent next to rental accommodation?

No. It is not permitted to pitch a tent next to a mobile home or bungalow.

Where can I park when renting accommodation?

All accommodation units have one or two private parking spaces depending on the model.

Can I rent accommodation for just one night?

No. The minimum stay in rental accommodation at Camp du Domaine is 2 nights.

Do I have to clean the accommodation before leaving?

Yes. The accommodation must be left perfectly clean. If this is not the case, a flat fee of €120 may be deducted from the deposit. A cleaning package is also available for a more relaxed departure.

What time can I arrive and what time must I leave rental accommodation?

Keys are handed over from 5:30 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, keys must be returned before 10 am.

In case of late arrival, where can I collect the keys?

After reception closes, keys can be collected from the night guard located at the campsite entrance, on presentation of an ID document. The formalities are then completed at reception the following day.

Where can I find the cancellation conditions?

The general terms and conditions of sale and information about cancellation insurance are available in the booking documents and on the page dedicated to rates and conditions.

Are private spas cleaned between each guest?

Yes. Private whirlpool baths are systematically emptied, cleaned and treated between each guest.

Can I book a specific accommodation number?

Yes, it is possible to request a specific accommodation number, subject to availability when our team confirms the booking. This service costs €75. If the requested accommodation is not available, the amount is refunded or another number may be offered.

What shops are available on the campsite?

Camp du Domaine has several useful shops for your stay: groceries, household products, newspapers, camping items, souvenirs, beach items, toys and everyday products.

What restaurant options do you offer?

On site, you will find several options for eating throughout the day: breakfast, meals, aperitifs, snacks, takeaway dishes, bars and restaurants.

Are the shops and restaurants open throughout the season?

Yes. From the campsite opening to closing, the shops and restaurants welcome holidaymakers every day.

What services are available at reception?

Reception can help you with several practical needs during your stay: useful information, details about how the campsite works, help with organising certain requests and additional services.

Does the campsite have Wi-Fi?

Yes. The entire campsite is covered by Wi-Fi. A free limited-speed version gives access to emails, messages and social media. A paid higher-speed version allows you to watch films and series or make video calls. To connect, select the wifipass-Camp-Du-Domaine network. The Bar du Tennis no longer sells Wi-Fi cards.

Is there security on the campsite?

Yes. The campsite is monitored 24/7. Safes can be rented at reception. Rental accommodation is already equipped with a safe.

Can I welcome visitors?

Yes. Visitors are allowed free of charge outside peak season and subject to a fee during the season.

Is there a swimming pool at Camp du Domaine?

No. Camp du Domaine does not have a swimming pool, as the campsite has direct access to the sea. Water games for children are available next to the Snack Bar du Tennis.

What sports facilities are available?

Camp du Domaine offers several sports facilities: 6 tennis courts, 2 multisports courts, table tennis tables, a fitness room, an archery area, a children’s playground and several pétanque courts.

Is the entertainment free?

Yes, entertainment organised by the campsite is free. Some services or activities remain chargeable, such as hourly tennis court rental or water sports activities run by external providers.

From what age can children join the children’s clubs?

The children’s clubs welcome several age groups so that activities can be adapted to each child. Children can take part from age 4 up to age 17.

Are the children’s clubs open only in summer?

No. Activities for children are offered throughout the season, depending on the entertainment programme.

What time does the evening entertainment finish?

In general, evening entertainment finishes at around midnight.

Where can I find the entertainment programme?

The entertainment programme is available on the website, on the Camp du Domaine app, at reception and on the campsite noticeboards.

Is there a nightclub on the campsite?

No, there is no nightclub within the campsite. The nearest nightclub is about 15 minutes away on foot along the beach.

Is there a welcome drink?

Yes. A welcome drink introducing the entertainment team and activities is organised on Sunday evenings during the summer season at the Snack Bar du Tennis.

Is access to the fitness room chargeable?

No. Access to the fitness room is free and open 7 days a week from 9 am to 10 pm.

How far away is the nearest village?

La Favière, a district of Bormes-les-Mimosas, is located directly next to the campsite via the beach. Le Lavandou is around 3 km away on foot along the seafront promenade. The village of Bormes-les-Mimosas is around 5 km away by car.

Can I rent bicycles, motorbikes or scooters?

Two-wheel rental is not available directly on the campsite, but you can find this service nearby, particularly in La Favière at Nova-Loc.

Can I rent a car?

Yes, several car rental companies are available in Bormes-les-Mimosas and Le Lavandou. You can contact reception for practical information during your stay.

Can I use a barbecue?

Gas and electric barbecues are allowed. Charcoal barbecues and open fires are strictly forbidden. Equipment such as a plancha may be available to rent, depending on availability.
