Plage du Layet
Plage du Layet, also known as “Anse du Boucanier”, is one of the best-known naturist beaches in Le Lavandou. Tucked away in a discreet setting, this small fine-sand beach is reached via a signposted path with a steep descent.
It lies in the direction of Saint-Tropez, around 6 km from the centre of Le Lavandou, just before the large Cavalière beach.

More secluded, Plage du Rossignol is a wild cove with relatively difficult access, appreciated for its peaceful and intimate atmosphere. Naturism is practised here in a particularly unspoilt natural setting.
Animals are not allowed on the beach.

On Île du Levant, Plage des Grottes is tucked into a small cove surrounded by rocks and Mediterranean vegetation. Naturism is compulsory on this beach.
Île du Levant can be reached by boat from the ports of Bormes-les-Mimosas or Le Lavandou.

In Ramatuelle, on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, Pampelonne is divided into several sections, some of which are reserved for naturists. It offers a livelier alternative to the smaller, more secluded coves around Le Lavandou.
Allow around 45 minutes by car from Camp du Domaine.

The beach is a natural environment, a place for swimming and a shared public space. A few simple rules and common-sense habits help everyone enjoy it peacefully while protecting the Mediterranean coastline.

Public maritime domain
A public space
The beach in front of the campsite remains a public beach
Even though it lies directly in front of Camp du Domaine, the beach forms part of the public maritime domain and therefore does not belong to the campsite.
Access to and use of the beach are governed by the regulations in force. Depending on the matter concerned, these rules may be set by the State, the local authority or other competent bodies, covering areas such as swimming, safety, animals and the use of the coastline.
The relevant authorities may intervene when necessary to ensure these regulations are respected.
A towel should not reserve a spot for hours
If you are leaving the beach for an extended period, avoid leaving towels, parasols or personal belongings set up on the sand. A space left unoccupied for several hours could simply be enjoyed by other beachgoers.
There is also a safety consideration: belongings left unattended near the water may give the impression that their owner has gone swimming and could be in difficulty at sea.
Sharing the space and taking your belongings with you when leaving for a while is simply a matter of consideration for others.
Posidonia on the sand? It’s completely natural
The brown leaves you may see along the shoreline are not waste. They come from Posidonia oceanica, an iconic Mediterranean seagrass that plays an essential role in the marine ecosystem.
Once washed ashore, the leaves can form natural banks on the sand. They are left in place on some beaches because they contribute to coastal biodiversity and help protect the shoreline from erosion.
Their presence is part of a natural Mediterranean beach.
Dogs are also subject to beach regulations
Pet dogs are not allowed on the beach in front of Camp du Domaine during the period defined by local regulations.
